Choosing a skip bin

What size skip do i need? Here at Unlimited Bins we often get asked this. When it comes to choosing a skip bin the hardest part can be figuring out what size skip you need.  Many of us do not need to hire a skip often. This makes working out which skip is right for you a bit tricky.   When you google skip bins it can be overwhelming with the amount skip bins available.  There are skips for light waste, heavy waste, builders waste and green waste and so much more.  Along with these huge variety of waste types, there is are so many different sizes to choose from.

Selecting the right size skip bin

Before you select the skip size there are a few things to work through.  First you will need to do is figure out what type of rubbish you have.  This will help ensure you get a bin that is suitable for that type of rubbish.  The last thing you want to happen is for you to get a skip and fill it only to find you can’t put that type of rubbish in there. This can happen for a few different reasons.  One common reason is that the skip would be too heavy for the truck to lift, making it unsafe to transport. Therefore, it is so important to figure out the waste type you have.  Once you have the waste type sorted you can go onto selecting the right skip bin for you.

 Estimating the skip size
